2025

This year has been a great year. Despite the pressure of test delays and cancellations, we’ve had some really good results and maintain a solid pass rate. Here are 6 random passes from 2025.

2024

In 2024, I said goodbye to my beloved Ford Puma and hello to our brand new Jeep Avenger. Getting used to the handbrake being electric was a challenge but my learners all took to the new car well and fell in love with it as much as I did. Here are 6 random passes from 2024.

2023

Another strong year with a great group of learners. I stopped working in the Doncaster and Barnsley area’s to focus fully on Rotherham and Worksop. Here are 6 random passes from 2023.

2022

In full swing with the Ford Puma now, this was a great year. Due to the success of our Introduction to Driving programme at Maltby Academy, I started to spend more time around the Worksop test area. Here are 6 random passes from 2022.

2021

Coming out of lockdown was a strange teaching experience. Wearing face masks and gloves on lessons was hell. Having to deep clean the car between lessons was a real pain. This was the year I said goodbye to Bill Plant and formed LWA Driving School. Due to a delay with the arrival of my new car, I had a Peugot for a short time until the Ford Puma arrived. 2020

This was a very strange year. COVID shut down all driving schools except for teaching critical workers (teachers, nurses, carers). I decided to stop teaching entirely after passing my two critical workers until after lockdown had ended. Here are 6 random passes from 2020.

2019

After training will Bill Plant in 2019 I was blessed when I started to get some incredible learners, some already part trained and almost ready for test. Who knew that just around the corner, COVID would send us into over a year of uncertainty. Here are 6 random passes from 2019. My first ever pass was Holly from Rotherham.
