I can help you with the very basics such as safety and road position right through to complex junctions and roundabouts which will prepare you well for your driving test.

Mexborough has some excellent area’s to learn to drive including quiet areas such as the Windhill and Highwoods estates and busier areas such as the dual carriageway and through the town centre.

For learner drivers, Mexborough is situated in the middle of three test centres; Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley.  I will work with you and teach you the skills needed to pass your driving test and the theory test.

In our first lesson, we’ll get used to the car and learn how to use the different controls such as the gears and pedals.  After this we will look at moving off and stopping safely in a quiet road.  We will then progress to left and right turns, possibly including moving through the gears.

When you are comfortably able to set off and stop safely without assistance from me, we will discuss the path through the learning modules you wish to take.
