Our Work in Schools

School Partnership Programme – Introduction to Driving for Students

At LWA Driving School, we’re proud to work in partnership with a growing number of local schools to inspire the next generation of safe and confident drivers.

We currently support schools across South Yorkshire, including Maltby Academy, Sir Thomas Wharton Academy in Edlington, Wath Academy, Carlton Academy in Barnsley, and several others throughout the surrounding area.

Rewarding Positive Student Achievement

Together with KL Driving School and Press N Go Driving School, we provide both manual and automatic cars for school-based reward sessions.

Our unique Student Rewards Programme gives pupils who demonstrate excellent attendance, behaviour and exam performance the chance to experience driving for the first time — safely and professionally — within their school grounds.

Each selected student enjoys a 30-minute introductory driving session in the school car park, guided by one of our fully qualified DVSA-approved instructors.
This gives students a fun, confidence-building experience and an exciting taste of what real driving lessons are like.

Introduction to Driving Programme for Schools

Our Introduction to Driving programme is available to new schools at our standard rate of £37.50 per car, per hour.
We offer sessions lasting 4.5 hours per day, which can be delivered as a one-day event or spread over up to four days in a week, depending on the school’s schedule and number of participants.

We provide everything needed — vehicles, qualified instructors, safety management, and coordination — to ensure a smooth, engaging and educational experience for students.
